Preview new Diablo 2

After almost 4 years and half Diablo CAM hardware revision 2.** is goes on holiday.
It will be still supported for normal stuff which is public.

After many rumors now the new Diablo Cam 2 is announced and it will be available
by the mid of November just on the best Sat Shops on the net.

New Features:

Hardware:

* ARM7TDMI @ 50Mhz.
* FPGA @ 100Mhz processing speed.
* RAM: Internal 16KB and External 1MB.
* ROM: 256KB Internal Flash and 4MB Dataflash.
* J-tag connection.2 Smartcard Readers ISO and Plug-In.
* 2 Unique serial Numbers internally lasered inside.
* Supports 3,3 and 5,0 Volts Smartcards

Software:

* PICO-OS Operating System.
* Dataflash internal Filesystem FAT 12.
* Fully programmable by PCMCIA secure protocol.

The big differences with the Diablo CAM is that almost all is doubled:

1 MB of RAM instead of 512 K
4 MB of Dataflash
Most powerfull DVB Processor Xilinx 1200

All this new features are used to handle the HD channels better in the next feature.
Diablo CAM 2 can be CI+ compatible but not in this stage (Duolabs is not giving and date on that).

End User price will be available when the CAM will be introduced.

As wrote Diablo version 2.3 will be still supported for normal stuff which is public.
Updates from 2.2 to 2.3 will be soon opened again for all those who wants to make it work.

The **ONLY** thing that could be of some ~possible interest~ would be the CI+ support. Sans the Record LOCKOUT.

BUT HELL, we have that (Well, the Dream 800(0) for now) right now with SCAM 3.54 which can read that crap.
So that wouldn't be enough justification for me to shell out what ever Duo Labs wish to offer this to me for.

When at the end of the day this and only ~THIS~ is the only "Difference" (Which should be noted as "TBA"). Then I think I'll choose to save my Money not so much for the uselessness of this CAM but, that I choose not to, or wish to support HD+/CI+, RTL or ProSeiben Sat.1.

If RTL and ProSeiben Sat.1 think they can sell me the "right" to whatch perdy commercials in HD (while the rest of the "Content" will be upscaled), then I wish those involved a lota luck.

For myself I don't watch there SD Crap as it is, choosing to watch Astra 2 / Eurobird 1 (e.g. Freesat lol), or AFN on Hotbird. Barring that a few channels over Digital Cable.

...And suddenly realizes that he's already paying for a crypted SD Content of said Providers

Here's some information so you all know what's what.

The Diablo Cam 2 is real.

Diablo Cam 2 will have exclusive hacks {to be announced}

Diablo 2.3 cams will do public hacks only (not the exclusive hacks)

Diablo Cam 2 uses different processor and bigger ROM & RAM chips so upgrading old Diablo cams to Diablo Cam 2 won't be an option.

How do you know this cam ( diablo 2 ) exists at all?

Not on the official duolabs or diablo cam websites or any of the usual retail websites, googled it but came up with just rumours from other hacking sites/forums.

Can you please reveal/show a site confirming that this cam (diablo 2 ) is for real..

( apart from angels of fire site/forum )

With previous Diablo cam's (Wifi and Light 2.3) we have this kind of annoucement !

What do thing about Money ? Do you really think that triolabs, will wait for people to buy a cam that is Dead (No exclusive HACKS) ?

Anyway, Diablo Cam 2 or Diablo Cam 2.4, it's for real !
